Landmark Africa will by the end of this year open the doors of its luxurious tower to savvy corporate executives and multinational clients in need of a one-stop-convenient address where they can live, work, play and shop under one roof.

Christened the Landmark Towers, the 10-floor structure is situated along the Atlantic Ocean beach front on Water Corporation Road, Oniru Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos, where the developers say is intentionally chosen to give the occupants an environment of serenity and splendour.

“At Landmark, we understand the needs of the business community in Lagos, and having provided flexible office accommodation and business services for some of the world’s largest companies in Africa for over 17 years, we believe it is time to up the game in Nigeria’s property scene with our new tower,” the Chief Executive Officer, Landmark Africa, Mr. Paul Onwuanibe, said.

Modelled after the Rockefeller Centre in New York, Canary Wharf in London, Melrose Arch in Johannesburg and Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, the $267m Landmark Village and feature Hard Rock Café and Shiro Japanese restaurant, five individual 10 storey towers of prime office space, four star hotel and high-end residential apartments, all due to be developed in phases over the next three to four years.

“In conformity with its mixed-use status, the tower will consists of 67 per cent office space, 14 per cent residential, 13 per cent retail and six per cent leisure,” Deborah Nicol-Omeruah, Group Head, Corporate Finance, Landmark Africa, said.

She added that the development would boast of six floors of office space, 22 boutique short-stay apartments, 2,100 square metres of retail space on the ground floor, and three-storey leisure facility offering a fully equipped gymnasium, eternity swimming pool and multi-purpose courts.

According to her, a ventilated cladding system has been used for the external walls to promote the façade’s upkeep, while the building’s climate control will be achieved with the latest VRV cooling system designed to offer occupants comfort.
