The Escada is a 14-floor residential development on Lantana Road, Ring Road Westlands, Nairobi – Kenya. It will be joining the crop of existing residential stock within the Westlands suburb. The structure is designed by Bowman Associates Architects, who also happen to be the Architects for Riverside Square at the Riverside Drive in Nairobi, Kenya.

Ring Road Westlands suburb where the Escada will be located is already home to a couple of residential developments like the Pointe Apartments and Parklands Apartments. Recent construction developments within and around Westlands positions the suburb as a prime regeneration candidate on an upward growth curve.

Construction commenced on the Escada in October 2019 and is expected to be completed in Q2:2020. The project is being developed by Canaan Developers – a real estate development company that specializes in complex rural or urban projects and was formed to cater to the growing construction demand and development in the Kenyan and East African regions.

Previous projects by Canaan Developers include Grand Riverside Apartments (Riverside Drive), Volaire (Matundu Lande), Mzima Springs, and Royal Tulip Hotel.

With the Escada, the developers intend to integrate a wide array of residential elements including a rooftop swimming pool, decadent sky lounge, fully-fitted gym, bore-hole water supply, back-up generator, high-speed lifts, CCTV surveillance, Internet connectivity, MATV, video intercom, access control, electric fence and manned security at the entrance.

The development can be easily accessed through Raphta Road from Ring Road Westlands, putting it in close proximity to Westlands – Nairobi’s hub of innovative entertainment culture.

The apartment features mini 1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom apartments in a 14 storey building, for a total of 84 2-Bedroom and 42 mini 1-Bedroom apartment units.
