It is located in Lekki Phase 1 and will span from the end of Freedom way to Nicon Town – around the 4th Junction on the Lekki Epe Expressway.  It is currently being dredged and will be 150 hectares, with a dredging height of 3.5 meters as they noted that Lagos’ water level will rise about 1.35m due to the global water level rise.

It is estimated that it will take about 2.5 years to have the reclamation and infrastructure in place and should be completed by October 2021.

Other Island projects nearby include Periwinkle Island and Orange Island, which are also being developed.
