About The Facilities Management Nigeria Roundtable 2020: MANAGING THE ENVIRONMENT IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC: PEOPLE, PLACES & TECHNOLOGY
The COVID-19 pandemic has not just created an environmental emergency, it has put people productivity, business profitability and economic prosperity on the brink of a major crisis. All over the world, government and the private sector are working to contain the pandemic and restore the economy, businesses and people’s livelihood.
As the profession and business function that integrates people, place and process with the purpose of improving the quality of life of people, and the productivity of the core business, Facilities Management will play a major role in controlling and containing the COVID-19 pandemic, and returning economies and businesses to the path of sustainability.
The 2020 edition of The Nigerian FM Roundtable– an annual thought-leadership and business-to-business policy roundtable of Facilities Management subsidiary – seeks to draw global attention to these issues and co-create ideas with industry professionals on how to position FM as a major player in Africa’s economic recovery agenda.
With the theme, ‘’Managing the Environment in Times of Pandemic: People, Places & Tech’’, this year’s roundtable will individually dissect the roles of people, places and technologies in the scheme of things and discuss strategies for exploring the nexus among these three critical parts of the environment; as Africa navigates the path back to economic prosperity.
