African real estate is worth $416.5B and is growing 10% annually. With an annual transaction volume of $4.4B, real estate is considered the largest asset class in Africa and yet the market is still very much opaque. Compared to other asset classes, large-scale real estate investors and individuals cannot afford to make bad decisions regarding their acquisitions. As a private equity firm or developer, you cannot afford to invest over $200m in the wrong market with a declining yield. This is why we exist and this is what we do.
Who we are
Estate Intel is a data platform which helps organisations within the construction and real estate sectors or organisations interacting with these sectors make the best investment decisions. We provide analytics and insights obtained through market research and analysis, which these organisations can use to understand current trends, make forecasts, generate leads and ultimately power their real estate deals with Data.
What we have done
We have created a web application with dashboards of different areas in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Morocco and we are expanding these datasets to include more African countries. These dashboards show real-time rental and sale information, occupancy rate, stock additions, and the average yield of real estate developments specific to the sector. We also keep track of key real estate development projects in these countries and provide real estate market insights and key industry news providing timely and valuable information, thereby expediting decision-making.
Where we are going
On 11th October, we will fully launch the ei Premium product: a paid digital subscription for real estate investors who want to power their real estate decisions with data worth paying for. This is important to ensure we can continue to innovate; improve the insights and data we offer to the clients that truly need it and help us understand if we are on the right track. With this subscription, premium users can expect;
- Access to ongoing and existing project information
- Contacts to key decision-makers to improve lead conversion rates
- Historical real estate data for better decision making
- Curated news and reports just for you
- Up to 500 lease and sale transactions from across African cities
What’s next?
More data and a better overall application experience for our premium users. Over the next few months, we will be focusing on;
- Increasing Data coverage based on your feedback.
We now have dashboards for the healthcare, industrial, co-working, shortlet, and data centres across Accra, Lagos, and Nairobi. Expect more of this across Africa soon.
- Improving your experience using the application
With a Premium, our goal is to provide you with the intelligence that would make your investments beat its competition. Not only will you be able to access property data across multiple countries in Africa on the application, but we will also be doubling down on market alerts for new projects, land prices, and market trend notifications to ensure you never miss a beat.
We love to hear from you! Schedule a demo with us and let’s show you how to beat your competitors.
