The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), formerly known as the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), officially inaugurated its new headquarters on the 14th of April, 2026, and the inauguration was commissioned by the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Nigeria Revenue Service Headquarters (NRS HQ), also known as Tax House, Abuja, is a Grade A office development with a Gross Leasable Area of 36,660 sqm and a Land Area of 14,113sqm on Kur Mohammed Avenue, in the Central Business District of FCT, developed by the Nigeria Revenue Service and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Nigeria Limited, the main contractor.
ATO Architects, which designed the tower, reported that the building cost ₦39.2 billion ($233 million) as of August 2014 and comprises three towers joined at the centre. Construction commenced in 2015 and was completed in Q2 2026.
The new headquarters is now home to the newly established Nigeria Revenue Service. NRS HQ is a three-tower development with sixteen floors each and is set to accommodate 3,000 employees.
