Following the acquisition of Kanti Towers in July 2021, the building has now been christened NIMASA Towers. The 15 Floor Building was acquired by The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) for a sum of NGN 17 billion  to serve as their new headquarters.

The building was inspected on Saturday, 19th November 2022 by the Director General of NIMASA, Dr Bashir Jamoh, Minister of State for Transportation; Prince Ademola Adegoroye amongst other ministry officials.

Kanti Towers, a 6,600sqm office property in Victoria Island, was developed as a Joint Venture between Lagos State Development and Property Company (LSDPC) and Senkay Nigeria Limited, and primarily funded by Skye Bank Nigeria (now Polaris Bank Limited). The building was put on sale following its completion in 2014 as a result of the failure to secure tenants. Following this acquisition, it will now serve as the headquarters for The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency facilitating their move from Maritime House in Apapa.
