IMB Plaza, the iconic 5-floor structure designed by Inchscape.KI architects for International Merchant Bank in the mid-80s is being renovated. The property was acquired and renovated by Green Eagle Realty who retained and enhanced the property’s iconic design.

Chapman Taylor, UK based architects, put together the new design and Craneburg Construction is the main contractor for this development. Number One is sitting on 11,261 sqm of Gross Built Area and approximately 8,700 sqm of Gross Lettable Area. Among others, space will include ground floor space for a bank and leasable office space on floors above, each with separate access and parking.

Property features and amenities include an extensive area of roof terrace space, in-house gym/fitness club provision, rooftop restaurant, 24-hours electricity and security, kitchenette on each floor, flexible floor plans, multilevel onsite car park, and café. The balcony has a span of 9-meters which, according to Craneburg, is the longest in Nigeria and can withstand the weight of 200 people at once.
The typical size per floor spans between 1,000 sqm – 1,300 sqm and the current asking rent is $650 per sqm/annum with a service charge of $100 per sqm/annum. The floor to ceiling height is 2.7 meters and the building has no raised floors. The expected completion is March 2020.
