Victoria Island is an upper-middle-income to high-income neighborhood in Lagos, accommodating some of the top-grade residential developments in Nigeria. It borders the Atlantic Ocean to the south as well as other creeks and lagoons, which provides a lagoon view for several projects within the neighbourhood. Victoria Island is an upmarket area, with direct access to Lekki Phase 1, Lagos Island, and Ikoyi. The area, which serves as the major business hub of Lagos, houses several embassies and serves as headquarters for many local and international organizations and businesses. Major commercial developments in Victoria Island include Nestoil Tower, Churchgate Tower, Standard Chartered Bank HQ Building, etc, with a handful of large leisure and hospitality developments including Twinwaters Entertainment Center, Four Points by Sheraton, and the popular Eko Hotel and Suites. Recently, the area has gained even more prominence, being the home of the popular Eko Atlantic City.
