After a notable slow down, fresh dredging activity recently commenced on the Eko Atlantic. The land being reclaimed is directly in front of Kuramo Waters and behind ‘The Great Wall of Lagos’, a coastline protecting barrier made of concrete blocks that currently extends to Water Corporation Road.

Presently, the land reclamation exercise has been completed up to the corner of Adetokunbo Ademola Street and Ahmadu Bello Way in Victoria Island (just before Kuramo Waters). Roads, sidewalks, drainage, sewage and more are currently under construction.
