Purple partners Ascott Limited to introduce Citadines to Lagos

Purple and Ascott Limited this week signed an agreement to manage Purple Lekki through Citadines Aparthotel. Citadines Apart’hotel is a hospitality brand, with a network of more than 770 serviced residences and hotels globally. According to Ascott, Purple Lekki, which contains elements of retail, co-working, entertainment, cuisine, and arts and culture, provides the ideal setting for its product. 

The Ascott Limited (Ascott) is a Singaporean company that has grown to be one of the leading international lodging owner-operators with a portfolio that spans more than 200 cities across over 30 countries in Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the USA. 

Citadines Apart’hotel is a hospitality brand, with a network of more than 770 serviced residences and hotels globally. The hotel brand offers the flexibility and practicality of a serviced residence with a local feel. According to Ascott, Purple Lekki, which contains elements of retail, co-working, entertainment, cuisine, and arts and culture, provides the ideal setting for its product. 

This will be Ascott’s first partnership in Nigeria, and the Citadines Purple Lekki Lagos project will strengthen the Apart-Hotel concept in the Nigerian market. The project will consist of approximately 150 units broken up into one, two, three, and four-bedroom furnished Apart-Hotel suites, and promises quality management services, with high-quality design and build.

The Apart’ Hotel is currently under construction and according to the developers is planned to open in 2022.
