Carlson Rezidor reached a 26-hotel mark in its African portfolio, after the opening of the Radisson Blu Okoume Palace in December 2015.  The 330-room hotel is dual-branded with the Park Inn by Radisson Libreville, which opened a year earlier.

The Radisson Blu Okoume Palace features two dining options, a lobby bar, a pool bar, meeting and banqueting facilities for up to 700 persons, and a fitness center.  The Park Inn, located next door, features 140 rooms and shares some facilities with the Radisson Blu property.

According to a Rezidor press release, the property was acquired by Wali Hotels & Resorts in 2012, who purchased the Libyan-owned hotel from the Libya Africa Investment Company (LAICO) and executed a US$40M renovation program.
