Summary

This quarter, the country officially changed governments peacefully which spoke volumes about the resilience of the country’s political stability. A new budget was presented that cut several taxes including the 5% VAT/NHIL on real estate sales. It is expected that these tax cuts will ease the burden on companies which should drive further growth in the private sector.
