Last week, Venture Garden Group (VGG) launched a large innovation hub named Vibranium Valley with the presence of Vice President Osibanjo and many other dignitaries. The hub is located in a warehouse on Local Airport Road in Ikeja, Lagos and has a capacity of 333 people.
Vibranium Valley was designed and executed by Spacefinish, who are on a mission to redefine offices across the continent by designing workspaces for both start-ups and established companies. They have worked with Google, Andela, Stanbic IBTC and many more over the past few years. We spoke with Remi Dada, the Founder and Head of Design & Operations at Spacefinish, here’s what he had to say:
Our goal with the VGG office was to redefine the idea of what an office space should look like. We wanted to take a departure from the typical rigid office space to a space that is more dynamic and allow its inhabitants to mould it to support the way they work, communicate, collaborate and play.
According to their website, Venture Garden Group is a leading provider of innovative, data-driven, end-to-end technology platforms addressing reconciliation and payment processing inefficiencies across multiple sectors of the African economy.
