The Azuri Peninsula is a new luxury residential development situated in the Marina District of the Eko Atlantic. It will include three 30+ floor towers as well as multiple townhouses with some retail elements at ground floor level. The 3 Towers (Oban Tower, Zuna Tower and Orun Tower) will include 7-bedroom villas on the top 2 floors (said to be sold out), 6-bedroom penthouses and 2 and 4-bedroom apartments in varied formats on all other floors.
The Marina District of the new city will have views of the ocean from one side and of the entrance to the port of Lagos on the other. According to Eko Atlantic, planned building plots within the district will be 5,500 square metres and the average building height will be 70 metres. Eko Development Company Ltd is the developer for this project and aside from Alpha One, all other projects in the Marina will be by them.
This project joins other residential developments planned for the Eko Atlantic like the Lagos Sky Tower, LeReve Tower and Eko Pearl Towers. The scale and volume of real estate projects within the new city warrant a question on where the source of demand will emerge. While most of the flats may be acquired by investors, occupancy will be another story.
