Guaranty Trust Bank, Lekki Phase 1

GTBank's Lekki Phase 1 Branch is located on Admiralty Way, right at the entrance of Lekki Phase 1. Construction commenced Q2:2016 and it was completed in Q4:2017. It remains the only GT Bank physical branch in the Lekki Phase 1 area.

The architects, Anetor & Associates, are also behind many other landmark GTBank branches (Ilupeju, UNILAG) and Diamond Bank branches (Lekki Phase 1, Adetokunbo Ademola Street); while the contractors, Monterosa Construction were the main contractors for Desiderata and Lakepoint Tower in Banana Island, Ikoyi.

In Q4:2020, the branch was burned by unconfirmed persons in the aftermath of the Lekki Tollgate attack when the Nigerian military opened fire on peaceful protesters.
