316 Upper Hill Chambers is a 26-floor office development located on 2nd Ngong Avenue, in the highbrow Upper Hill area of Nairobi, Kenya. It was developed by Upper Hill Chambers Limited, a legal firm. The office development with Prism Tower and 4th Avenue Towers located nearby form a close trio of Upperhill skyscrapers.
Construction commenced in Q1:2015 and the development was completed by Q3:2021. The main contractor is Fujian based China Wu Yi Limited, who are the contractors for the Amhara Credit and Savings Institution Headquarters, Ethiopia. The development has been topped out.
316 Upper Hill Chambers consists of 2 penthouses, 3 basement parking floors, 5 upper parking floors, 6 lifts, an arcade on the ground floor, data storage facilities, and 15 fully leasable floors. It has a gross lettable area of 19,500 square meters and also serves as the headquarters of Upper Hill Chambers Limited.
Lawyers building at a scale to lease back to the office market is not a new phenomenon as we previously noted amongst the Lagos big players in the legal sector.
