Àrgentil Capital Partners, a Nigerian financial advisory firm specialising in corporate, project and infrastructure finance, announced in a statement issued on 1 st of June, that it was taking a 20% stake in Tempohousing Nigeria Ltd (THN). THN is a project developer specialising in the design and manufacture of real estate structures using standard ISO shipping containers. They are also an arm of Tempohousing Global (THG), the leading multinational Netherland based project developer that specializes in the construction of same.
Àrgentil is investing out of its Àrgentil Principal Investment Portfolio II (APIP II), a vehicle dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in Nigeria. This is APIP II’s third investment, which has already invested in Winchester Farms, a meat processing company, and Chocolate City Lounge, a restaurant and entertainment company. The investment will allow Tempohousing execute its expanding portfolio of projects in the residential segment as well as in modular buildings for businesses and professionals. In the residential segment, the company is developing increasingly affordable housing to close the gap between supply and demand. A few of their projects are shown below.
