The Upbeat Centre is a multi-purpose sports and recreational facility that includes West Africa’s first trampoline park. It is located on Admiralty Road in Lekki Phase 1 and was developed by Uraga Real Estate Limited.

The centre, which was completed in December 2017, was created to fill a gap in the retail and leisure offering for the young and more active demographic within Lagos and is in line with the recent development interest in more experiential retail and leisure facilities. Speaking on the completion of the project and future plans for the Upbeat Recreation Centre, Mrs. Moyo Ogunseinde, Executive Director, Uraga Real Estate Limited stated:
“Statistically, Nigeria has a youth population of about 67 million, aged between 15 and 35 years. Therefore a viable market opportunity existed to cater to the youth through Upbeat Recreation Centre which is truly a one-of-a-kind development in West Africa…”
The Upbeat Centre amenities include an indoor trampoline park, an outdoor basketball court, a Five-a-Side football pitch, retail spaces for lease.
Uraga Real Estate was created in November 2008 to consolidate the real estate activities of the Honeywell Group into a new company and the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos is one of the company’s flagship projects. The Upbeat Centre was designed by Mika Associates and Black Diamond Engineering served as the main contractor.
