Notable contractors, El-Alan Construction Company and Cappa and D’Alberto recently moved to site to work on new projects along Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island.

Both companies have established themselves as Grade A contractors with portfolios that include many of Lagos’ largest real estate developments.

 

El-Alan Construction Company, was established in 1982 and was the contractor for 4 Bourdillon, Bluewater Apartments (Sapphire Tower) and Tango Towers among others. Cappa and D’Alberto was established 1932 and worked on The Wings, Civic Tower, and Access Bank Headquarters.

In Q2:2023, however, both contractors moved almost side by side on Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue to commence work on two new iconic residential towers, both of which are sponsored by Quantum Properties Limited.

 

 

 

The current projects being undertaken by both contractors are located beside Civic Center on Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island.

 

 

Project Details:

 

1. Metropolitan Tower by El-Alan Construction Company

 

 

Metropolitan Towers will be located along Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, on the recently broken down plot designated for the Marriott Lagos Waterfront Hotel. The project will be undertaken by a project team consisting of: 

• Quantum Properties Limited as the Developer
• El-Alan Construction Company as the Contractors
• XBD Collective as the Architect

 

1. Quantum Luxury Tower by Cappa and D’Alberto

 

 

The project will be undertaken by a project team comprising: 

 

• Quantum Properties Limited as the Developer
• Cappa and D’Alberto Plc as the Contractors
• SVA Architects as the Architect
• Trevi Foundations Limited as the Piling Contractor
• CKR Consulting Engineers as Engineering Consultants

The project, whose contractor is yet to be confirmed, is still in the conceptual stage and will likely be undertaken by a project team comprising:

• KOA Consultants as the Engineering Consultants

 

Each project boasts a project team of seasoned professionals with years of delivering quality work, exemplified by their stellar portfolios. While the developments are within different sectors, they will both be interesting additions to the current projects on Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, one of Victoria Island’s major roads comprising both notable office and residential buildings.
