Over the years, Kilimani has emerged as one of Nairobi’s most preferred residential neighbourhoods. Underpinned by its proximity to areas such as the CBD and a relatively good state of infrastructure, residential demand across Kilimani has continued to rise.

This demand has also been driven by an influx in expatriates, especially the Chinese who occupy the majority of the residential developments in the area. This demand can be evidenced by the presence of the only  ‘Chinatowns’  in Nairobi, one at Chaka Place and another near Yaya Centre as well as the increased development pipeline with projects such as Acton Park, Rosewood apartments and Taji Residence
