Housing policy and provision are among the core
issues that local and national governments deal with,
particularly in Africa, where population growth and
urbanisation rates far exceed those in the developed
world. This research series explores the Living sector in
East Africa as an asset class, focusing on four alternative
housing models: 1) Student Accommodation; 2)
Affordable Housing; 3) Co-living; 4) Later living. The
report provides a regional ‘Living’ investment outlook,
discussing where we expect investment opportunities.
