British American Tobacco has completed their new HQ on Alfred Rewane Road (Kingsway Road) in Ikoyi. The project, dubbed Rising Sun, is a 13 story mixed use tower that will serve as the company’s head quarters and also provide accommodation for staff. Similar to Heritage Place, it was designed by ECAD architects & Capita Symonds. However, the contractor for this project was Cappa & D’Alberto. It was completed in Q3 2015.
Rising Sun will join many other mixed use, leisure and office projects (existing and under development) onAlfred Rewane Road including, Southern Sun, Chelsea Group Hotel, Temple Tower, Alliance Place, Kingsway Tower and Tarino Tower. See this article for a map showing all the projects.
Their former HQ was set in a B/C Grade building on Idowu Taylor Street in Victoria Island.
