In 2014, the Dayspring Property Development Company that Folorunsho Alakija, one of Africa’s richest women Chairs completed their flagship mixed use development in Victoria Island, Rose of Sharon Tower. However, the company did not slowdown as piling work began shortly after for a large 3 floor residential project on Modupe Alakija Crescent in Ikoyi.

Akin to the Rose of Sharon Tower, Julius Berger was selected as the main contractor for this project and they did not spare any expense. Two cranes and impressive piling work (good enough for a tower) were used to get this 3 floor residential project right. The level of effort being put into the project comes at no surprise, as nothing less would be expected of the one of the richest black women in the world.

Work started in April 2014 and the project is now nearing completion. Other members of the project team include MFA Partnership, IAA Associates and ACCL, the architects for Victoria/Nestoil Tower. It is unclear whether the project is a single or multi residence.
