Early last month, Estate Intel was accepted into MetaProp’s 2021 cohort. The MetaProp Accelerator is among the world’s largest and most respected programs for early stage Property Technology (PropTech) companies. It is operated by MetaProp, a New York-based venture capital firm, in collaboration with Columbia University. The 22-week program, which commenced on the 13th of September, is focused on driving business growth and accelerated market penetration. As part of the program, Estate Intel will receive up to $250,000 in financing, which is part of a larger ongoing capital raise exercise.

Speaking on the development, Dolapo Omidire – Founder and CEO of Estate Intel said:

”We are extremely excited about the impact that MetaProp will have on our business and our ability to execute and grow. Over the past 6 months, we have thought hard about the role we’d like to play in solving the real estate data problem within Sub-Saharan Africa. Our initial approach, which involved a number of pay and register walls, very early in the process, stopped us from getting the useful feedback we needed to really develop the product. In April, we opened it all up and began an intimate user feedback sprint that helped us learn more than we have ever known while informing the redesign of a few pages. This process will continue with best in class guidance, and we will be in touch with as many of you as possible to help us achieve our goal of becoming the source of truth for African real estate data and insights.”
