Global hotel chain Onomo recently introduced a new hotel brand dubbed Allure, with Abidjan-Cote d’Ivoire being the debut location. This brings its total number of operating hotels to 23 in 13 African countries, and the second in Cote d’Ivoire. Here is an inside look at the new apartment hotel, Onomo Allure Abidjan Baobab

  • It is an upper midscale hotel located on Abidjan’s Rue Paul Langevin Street in Zone 4.
  • The development was completed and opened in July 2024, with Estate Intel having tracked its progress since 2022 when major interior works were ongoing.
  • It comprises 75 keys, distributed into 60-one-bedroom units and 15-two-bedroom units. 
  • One-bedroom units span between 45-50 sqm of floor space whereas two-bedroom units span between 75-80 sqm of floor space.
  • Amenities include a flexible meeting room and a business corner spanning over 130 sqm, which can accommodate up to 90 individuals, airport shuttle services, restaurant and bar, and private parking, among others.

Onomo Hotels was established in 2009, and opened its first hotel in 2010 in Dakar-Senegal, followed by a second in Côte d’Ivoire in 2011. It has since opened a series of hotels bringing its current total to 23 in the continent, through 13 countries.
